Terms of service
These terms govern your use of VoidCaptcha. They are written to be read rather than endured, and there is nothing buried in them — the clauses that cost you something are marked as such.

1The agreement#
By creating an account or sending a request to the API you accept these terms and the acceptable use policy, which forms part of them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
The service is offered for business and professional use. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and you must not be barred from receiving the service under applicable sanctions or export law.
2What we provide#
VoidCaptcha accepts a task describing a CAPTCHA challenge and returns a solution token or cookie. That is the whole of it. We do not act on the solution, we do not visit the target on your behalf beyond what solving requires, and we take no position on what you do with the result.
Challenge types, prices and published latencies are listed on the site and may change. Types marked as not launched are shown for planning and are not available to call.
3Your account and keys#
You are responsible for everything done with your API keys. A key is a bearer credential: anyone holding it can spend your balance, and we cannot distinguish you from someone who has taken it. Keep it out of client-side code, public repositories and screenshots, and rotate it from the dashboard the moment you suspect exposure.
We store only a hash of each key for authentication. A second, encrypted copy is held so the dashboard can show an account its own key; that copy is sealed with a secret kept separately from the database.
4Balance and billing#
The service is prepaid. You top up a balance and it is drawn down as you use the API. There is no invoice, no minimum spend and no expiry on unspent credit.
- You pay only for successful solves. A request that returns a non-zero
errorIdcosts nothing, and any provisional hold is released. - Prices are per thousand successful solves and vary by challenge type. The current price for each is published on the pricing page and in the API reference.
- Test keys never touch the balance. They return a syntactically valid token that the target will reject.
Payment is in cryptocurrency, processed by a third-party payment provider. Your balance is credited once the transaction confirms on the relevant network. We do not receive or hold your card details, and we do not custody your funds beyond the credit balance shown on your account.
5Subscriptions#
Some challenge types may be bought as a subscription instead of per solve: unlimited solves of the covered types for a fixed period, priced by the number of concurrent threads rather than by volume.
- A subscription covers only the types it names. Anything outside that list falls back to your balance at the per-thousand price.
- Periods are weekly, monthly, or a custom number of days, and are priced when the subscription is created.
- Cancelling stops renewal and lets the period run to its end date. Coverage you have already paid for is not withdrawn.
- Subscription fees are not refundable for the remainder of a period once it has started.
6Refunds#
Failed solves are refunded automatically, in full, without you asking. That is the refund mechanism the service is built around and it operates on every request.
Beyond that we do not refund unspent balance as a matter of course, because credit does not expire and remains available to you. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a sustained outage, a billing error, a charge you cannot account for — write to [email protected] and we will put it right.
7Availability and performance#
We publish success rates and median latencies as measured, including the unflattering ones. They are observations, not commitments: a CAPTCHA vendor can change its challenge without notice and a type that solved reliably yesterday may not today.
The service is provided without a contractual uptime guarantee. We do not warrant that any particular solve will succeed, that a token will be accepted by the target, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
8Suspension and termination#
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the acceptable use policy, that we are legally required to close, or that is being used in a way that puts the service or other customers at risk.
Where we close an account for abuse, unspent balance and any running subscription are forfeited — see the acceptable use policy. Where we close it for any other reason, or discontinue the service entirely, we will refund unspent balance.
9Liability#
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You are responsible for your own use of the service, and you agree to cover us for third-party claims arising from your use of it in breach of these terms.
10Changes#
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and ask us to refund your unspent balance.
